Beth retired to Sage Creek in 2022 after a 9-year career in management consulting and 35 years of leadership in the Episcopal Church in California. As a management consultant, she specialized in organizational development and nonprofit board formation. She later served churches in the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California, where she launched independent nonprofit organizations from thriving church ministries, including child development centers, homeless outreach programs, community kitchens, and community gardens, in addition to leading parishes as their priest. Beth also served the Diocese of California as a consultant for stewardship and planned giving, facilitating board retreats for leadership development and fundraising initiatives. While living in Newport Beach, CA, Beth served as Treasurer of the Bluffs Community HOA, a 647-home community facing significant drainage and common-area challenges.

Annie has been a Senior Lecturer at Wake Forest (WFU) University since July 2020, where she teaches financial, managerial, cost and ethical accounting courses. Prior to teaching at WFU, she taught for 22 years at the University of New Mexico (UNM). She received her BBA and Master of Accounting from UNM in 1994 and 2000, respectively.

Annie continues to be professionally active in accounting through her consulting, which provides financial, cost management, corporate governance, risk analysis, strategic and operational services to governmental, not-for-profit and private entities. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Nusenda Credit Union as Vice-Chair and will be Chair in 2027. Prior to her board appointment to Nusenda, Annie served on Nusenda’s Audit Committee for five (5) years and prior to her appointments at WFU and UNM, she was employed as a senior auditor for 4 years at Arthur Andersen.

Barb is a retired public/private sector professional with a background in workforce development, human resources, operations, and leadership. Throughout her career, she navigated change, built relationships, solved problems, and focused on serving customers.

As we make our transition from developer control to homeowner leadership, her focus is to represent residents, encourage transparency, and help guide our community’s growth and success. By listening to and bringing residents’ ideas forward, asking thoughtful questions, researching issues, and offering solutions, we can make decisions with long-term community interests in mind.
